Travel to the ancient town of Bethlehem to pay your taxes and be counted in the Roman census. Hear the shepherds talk about the angels’ proclamation. Listen to the prophet talk of signs and wonders. Enjoy the city alive with activity and experience having no room at the inn. Avoid the anger of the Roman soldiers and tax collectors. See the peaceful baby Jesus asleep in the manger. Experience all this and more at the inspirational “Living Nativity" outdoor Christmas walk. Friday, December 2, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m The “Living Nativity" is located at 8220 Holland Road (M-46) in Saginaw, Michigan. From I-75 take exit 149A. Immanuel Lutheran Church is approximately 5 miles east of I-75, on the corner of M-46 (Holland Road) and Mueller Road. This is a free 30-minute walk and is mainly an outdoor event, so dress for the weather. After the walk-through, everyone is invited to enjoy light refreshments and good fellowship. An interpreter will be provided for hearing impaired groups on Saturday upon request. Please contact the church office. This event is supplemented with Thrivent funds.
