Step into the wild at the Denver Zoo for an unforgettable family-friendly experience — completely free on select days throughout 2025!

Explore exhibits featuring animals from every corner of the globe, from playful penguins to majestic lions. The zoo is home to over 3,000 animals representing 450 species, offering guests the chance to learn about wildlife conservation and global ecosystems. Wander through lush habitats and get up close with some of the world’s most fascinating creatures.

On Free Admission Days, everyone can experience the zoo’s educational programming, interactive exhibits, and scenic walking paths without spending a dime. Plan your visit early to beat the crowds and prepare for a day of adventure and wonder.

How to get tickets for Community Free Days:

Step 1: Check the list on the website for the date tickets will be posted for an upcoming Free Day. Preliminary dates are as follows: Jan 10, Jan 26, Feb 9, Apr 6, Nov 7, Nov 15, Nov 23.

Step 2: On the date listed there, visit this page to register for your Free Day tickets. Tickets are first-come, first-served. Please note that tickets will not be available onsite and walk-ups will not be permitted.

Step 3: You will receive an email confirmation once you have booked your tickets.

Step 4: On your designated Free Day, bring your digital tickets to the Zoo and have a great day!

PLEASE NOTE!
You may book up to five tickets for each Free Day based on the number you need for your group. Limit one registration per person, per Free Day. 

Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY. No tickets will be available at the Zoo gate. 

All guests must have a timed ticket for entry, including children 2 and under. Tickets are valid only for the specific Free Day and entry time you reserved.
